Jo Gledhill

Instructor and Owner

My mission is to make exercise, movement and wellbeing accessible to everyone.

​

I've taught yoga, Pilates and barre for over a decade, both in London and north Leeds. I live in Rawdon village with my 3 small kids, 1 allotment, 1 husband and 1 cat. 

​

I've absolutely loved setting up The Well House and getting to know all our clients. It's so rewarding to see people make huge and life-changing breakthroughs in their movement and mobility, as well as seeing how relaxed and happy people feel after our classes :)

​

I think movement is the most incredible wellbeing tool - it can turn your day around in moments - and I'm so glad to be able to bring these classes and this beautiful dedicated studio to Rawdon.

Katie Rawling

Yoga, Meditation and Group Exercise Instructor and PT

Katie has recently relocated to Leeds after travelling through Sri Lanka, teaching yoga and mindfulness.

​

Sharing movement and mindfulness is her passion and she loves to help people tune in to their own intuition and wisdom.

​

In her classes you'll flow through movements to connect with the rhythm of the breath. You'll leave feeling energised, calm, balanced and strong.

​

Practise with Katie on Fridays:

12.30 - Yoga and Meditation (Level 1)

Alice Faulkner

Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner

Alice has a strong interested in the fundamentals of yoga - the origins, history and asanas. Her classes are calm, supportive and grounding - with an emphasis on body alignment (where her knowledge as a doctor comes in very useful!). She's also a Reiki practitioner and holds small group Reiki sessions at the studio.

​

You'll leave her classes feeling a great sense of strength, self-trust and feeling more yourself than you did when you arrived.

​

Marisol Casthilo

Restorative Yoga Instructor

Marisol found her community through yoga when she moved to Leeds 10 years ago and found that yoga goes beyond the mat and influences other aspects of life.

​

She believes in the importance of rest in our modern society, and brings this deep calm and quiet to our Restorative Yoga classes.

​

Her classes combine breathwork, meditation and gentle supported movement to enable deep physical and mental relaxation.

​

Laura Butcher

Baby Massage Instructor

Laura is the owner of Mama Mellow Baby Massage. 

​

She delivers baby massage courses in small nurturing groups in her role as a family support worker for families with young children.

​

Her 5-week massage courses at The Well House are incredibly popular! And the feedback is always amazing, with people booking course after course.

​

She offers a safe and nurturing space in which to bond with and learn to understand your baby and start the wonderful journey that is parenting!

Sophie Alder

Pilates and Dance Instructor

Sophie is a dance artist and Pilates teacher with over 25 years experience teaching and facilitating dance projects for all ages. More recently she has trained as a Pilates instructor - and we're so lucky to have her on the team!

​

She recognises the importance of meeting people where they are and  getting them moving. The impact of this on mental and emotional state is huge. She helps you to lead a happier life through movement.

​

Practise with Sophie:

Tuesdays 8am - Pilates All-levels

Tuesdays 6pm - Pilates Level 1

Deborah Grossman

Parent and Baby and Family Yoga Teacher

Debs teaches all age groups - from babies, toddlers, teens to adults. Her approach is fun, relaxed and supportive. She teaches from the heart with humour and warmth.

​

She's skilled at adapting each session to the needs of the people in the room (a very valuable skill when working with small children!).

​

Practise with Debs:

Toddler Yoga - Tuesdays 9.30am
