Frequently Asked Questions

Are the classes suitable for beginners?
Yes. All our studio classes are suitable for all levels. We love beginners!

Do I need my own mat?
You can bring your own mat if you’d like to, but we do provide mats and blocks for everyone.

Do I need to buy a class pass?
In order to make the system as flexible as possible, we use class passes for every class book on a class. Once you've purchased your class pass you have freedom to reschedule if you can no longer attend (within 12 hours of the class start time). You can buy one class pass as a drop-in, or multiple class passes for savings. We do not offer unbooked drop-ins.

How do the class passes work?
When you've chosen your class through The Timetable or The Classes pages, you'll be asked to submit some brief details so we can keep track of who is coming to the class. You then click Buy Class Pass and are taken to a new page, where you choose the right number of classes for you. Once you've purchased your pass, you use this to book onto the class. If your booking has been successful, you'll receive a confirmation email. If you're unsure or having any difficulties with booking, just contact us and we'll get it sorted for you. To use a class pass you've already bought or reschedule, just log in to your account :)

Where can I park?
A handy parking map can be found here.

Do I need to bring anything?
No – just yourself! You don't need to bring your own mat, but if you're particularly attached to your own mat, that's ok too!

What facilities are there?
We have a toilet, two changing rooms, space to store shoes, bags and coats, baby changing area, water and glasses.

What if I’m late?
To be fair to other members of the class, we can’t let people in if they’re late. The door to the studio is locked five minutes after the class starts. It’s a good idea to arrive five or ten minutes before the class starts so you can get set up and relax. (This doesn't apply to mum and baby classes - just arrive when you arrive! We know how hard it is to leave the house with a small human.)

How long are the classes?
The studio classes are 1 hour long. You're welcome to arrive up to 10 minutes early, and you've got at least fifteen minutes until the next class starts to chat and gather your things.

Can I pay cash?

No, all our payments are through our website in advance of the class. If you are having any difficulty with this set up, please email us and we’ll help you out.

What should I wear?
You can wear anything you're comfortable in and able to move freely in - something with a bit of stretch. The majority of our clients wear leggings or joggers and a t-shirt/vest top. Yoga and Pilates are best done barefoot, but you don't have to take your socks off until you're warm enough!

If I'm recovering from injury or surgery, can I still attend?
In most cases, yes! We love helping people to rehab injury and recover post-surgery to find your movement confidence again. Please do get in touch with us before the class, or arrive a little early, so the instructor has time to learn about your injury and how to help you through the class.

If I’m bringing my baby, what else should I bring?
For the post-natal and mum and baby classes, you can obviously bring your baby! We’ve tried to take all the stress out of leaving the house with a small baby, and have a changing area with wipes, nappy sacks and spare nappies, we’ve got a kitchen where you can get water. Due to the small size of the studio, we can’t house ten prams, so it’s a good idea to bring your baby in arms, sling or car seat. We can fit some collapsed prams in the back room if necessary. We provide muslin cloths to lay on your mat for your baby, but you are welcome to bring a blanket or towel of your own. Basically, if you show up with yourself, your baby, your baby’s food source and nothing else, you will be fine!
