If you're new to us, or new to yoga/Pilates/group exercise, please don't worry - we've got you! We've got classes for all levels, ages and abilities in our Rawdon studio. You'll never feel out of your depth. Please get in touch if you've any questions at all.

 Classes for Beginners in Rawdon

Most of our classes are suitable for all levels - starting with simpler exercises, and offering the option to add challenge if you want to.

That being said, for a complete beginner, here are a few pointers.​

Pilates is a wonderful starting point

Bad back? New to exercise? Recovering from injury? Want to improve balance and strength? Well House Pilates is for you. 

​

Really accessible, mostly lying down, challenging in the right ways and quick to show results.

You can join any Pilates class, but Tuesdays 6pm and Thursdays 11am are our gentler classes.

Gentler Yoga Classes

Yoga can be a minefield, so here's a helpful breakdown of what to expect in our classes:

​

Hatha Flow Yoga - taught by Andy, this class is a treat! Slow enough to follow, but still challenging enough to make your brain be quiet for a bit! 12.30 Tuesdays

​

Yoga Flow/Candlelit Yoga - our core yoga classes are taught by Jo, and incorporate elements of flow, meaning there's a bit more up and down from the floor (if you're struggling with mobility at the moment, start with Pilates). A wonderful workout for your body and a rest for your mind. Most days!

​

Yin - a really slow, gentle, floor-based class that priorities breathing, relaxation and stretch. Suitable for all levels, and a great way to give yoga a try. Fortnightly Thursdays, 7.30pm
